About the conference

A global forum for power systems transient expertise

The Local Organizing Committee welcomes researchers, engineers, and industry experts from all over the world to IPST 2027, the premier international forum devoted to electromagnetic transients in electric power systems.

IPST began as the European Conference on Power Systems Transients in Lisbon in 1993 and is now the leading conference on modelling, simulation, measurement, and analysis of transient phenomena.

Submission: Prospective authors are encouraged to submit a paper following the provided Word and Latex PDF templates. The maximum number of pages is 7 for the first submission.

Publication: All accepted papers will be published in a special issue of the Electric Power Systems Research (EPSR) journal provided that at least one of the authors registers for the conference and presents the paper at the conference.

Note: Submissions are expected to demonstrate a clear connection and contribution to the transient simulation of power systems and components. Papers falling outside this scope may not be considered for review.
